Rules for Half Marathon Team Running

This is not a relay race. Each team will have 4 members run the entire distance that the team is signed up for. Scoring will be based upon the average time of all 4 members of the team. All 4 runners’ times will be counted into the average team time.

Team Categories & Awards

Team categories: Men, Women, Mixed (mixed teams require at least 2 women)
Awards will be given to the top 3 teams in each category.
Please Note: Competing on a team will not pull you away from your regular marathon awards. You will still be able to win overall or age division awards if your individual performance earns that. You can still qualify for the Boston Marathon while running on a marathon team.

Team Registration Will Close May 25th at 11:59 p.m.

Please note: registration is non-refundable, but the registration fee may be applied to next year's race or to a different athlete (if you contact us before May 25). If a team doesn't fill all 4 spaces before May 25, the existing members of that team will be combined with other partial teams. If you want to keep your same team name, you must fill all 4 team spots.
